Troy Wilson was raised on a small farm in North Walker County Alabama with a family of eight children. Troy grew up with six brothers and two sisters. He has been a lifelong resident of Walker County.

Troy and Judy Knowles married fifty-four years ago. They are the proud parents of two sons and five grandchildren.

Mr. Wilson was first appointed to the Walker County Civil Service Board in September 2022. He was reappointed in July 2023 for a six-year term. His current term will expire July 2029.

Mr. Wilson promised that as a member of the Civil Service Board he would faithfully and honestly discharge his duties as long as he is privileged to serve.
