Walker County Commission Chairman Steve Miller was born and raised in Walker County. Steve owns Miller Roofing, Inc., a 52-year old corporation his father, Earl Miller, started in 1968. Steve is married to Pam Thompson Miller, and together they have 3 children: Bethany Johnson (Kris), James Miller (Beth), and Morgan Miller. Steve and Pam are members of Philadelphia Baptist Church, where Steve teaches Sunday school.
Steve lives on the family farm and loves hunting and farming. Through Steve’s growth in business with his dad, Steve has served and is still on the Board of Directors of http://www.subala.org which is the the largest subcontractors association comp fund in Alabama. Since 1990, he has served as the organization’s president on 3 occasions.
Steve loves antique vehicles and is a member of Central Alabama Rodders Society car club. He is a pilot and loves to fly small aircraft.
Steve wants Walker County to grow and flourish with honesty, Integrity, and he believes in transparency!
