Commissioner Jeff BurroughCommissioner Burrough is a lifelong resident of Walker County and a graduate of the Jasper City School system. Mr. Burrough also graduated from Walker High School in 1985 and then attended Walker College and the University of Alabama. He began his auto sales business in 1991 and has been a business owner and self-employed since 1999.
Jeff and Jill Burrough have been married for 28 years and are proud parents and grandparents. Mrs. Jill Burrough is a teacher at Carbon Hill Elementary, along with daughter in law Leslie who is an English teacher at Carbon Hill High School. Leslie is married to their son McClain Burrough, who is a pharmacist, and they have one son, Anderson. They are also proud parents of Ricki Jill, their daughter, who is a Junior at Carbon Hill High School.
Commissioner Burrough is a member of the First Baptist Church in Carbon Hill. He enjoys playing golf, fishing and Alabama football. He also served as a board member of the Walker County Board of Education from 2004-2010. Commissioner Burrough looks forward to using the skills he has obtained in business and government, along with sound conservative values to the citizens of Walker County with a respectable and efficient term.
